Voice Unlock is a mobile software application that allows you to password protect your iPhone and applications on your iPhone by your own voice.  When you first open the application you will get a screen asking you to enter a safety letters or numbers by voice or by hand that will be used in the event that you lose or forget your password. Once you have entered your safety letters or numbers, you will then get a screen where you will need to enter the master password by saying the letters or numbers.

Here are the features that associated with Voice Unlock now and in the future:

1. Unlock your phone using speech: after sliding the bar, you speak the sequence of letters/numbers that comprise your password. If you want to keep it a secret, you can still type it in.
2. Turn off locking completely by removing the slide bar. Pushing the home button will start the phone. This can be combined with Voice Unlock.
3. Lock individual applications in the same manner as you lock your iPhone.
4. Ability to lock the iPhone without exiting by clicking on the Voice Unlock icon.
5. Pushing and holding the home button while an application is running will lock that application without closing it effectively pushing it into the background.
6. Extends the security of the lock password by allowing the password length to be variable and to include numbers and both capital and lowercase letters.
7. You can set a master password in case you forget your main password.
8. You can set a timeout on your non-main password to remind you to change it.
9. You can record your own failure/success messages.

10.  You can add your own failure/success/background image.

11.  The options available for dealing with a failed unlocking attempt are extended.
